The opening date for April Trimester will be on 16/04/2012 to 20/04/2012. The registration will take place on Monday 16/04/2012 at 9:00 AM, after which, orientation for the first years will begin and the returning students will have time to study for their final examinations.

All the returning MEd students must plan to have their tuition and other fee payments current. The accounts office is always open for such inquiries.

Scott Christian University is taking applications for those interested in pursuing a Master of Education Distance Learning degree program this April Trimester 2012.

Those interested are advised to collect the application package from the Registrar, Scott Christian University any time from now and complete the application process before 15/04/2012.

The admission requirements are that you must be born again, with a 2nd class upper Bachelors Degree in any discipline.This programme is meant for you and is conducive for anyone who wishes to earn an accredited Master of Education degree. Our Masters degree is accredited by the Commission for Higher education, Kenya.

The fee is relatively lower than other programmes offered elsewhere. In simple terms, "it is the cheapest MEd Degree programme under the planet;" that is from the financial view point. It is manageable and it is flexible because you do the program work at your own phase; during your own free time and before you know it, you are done and ready for the next academic trimester.

All MEd students attending the MEd Conference from 22-23 March 2012, a discount of 25% has been extended to you by the conference planners.This means you will be charged less when you attend the Conference. Most of the speakers have confirmed their participation and the keynote speaker has already arrived on campus. We hope to see you all in attendance for this important conference.

Please note, there will be a session which would require all MEd students from Scott Christian University to meet with Prof. Geoff Beech from NICE University in Australia.

Prof. Geoff Beech has a lot of new input towards the MEd programme and his desire is to meet with all the MEd students on Friday 24/03/2012 this week in the morning hours. He is excited to hear on your experience in the MEd Programme and would love to have students share some of the challenges that they are facing or have already faced while in the course of taking the MEd programme.

The theme for this conference is one which you cannot afford to miss, "Teaching Christianly." We have some members of the Conference who have arrived from Uganda and we expect many more from Africa and abroad.We hope to see you beginning today in the evening. Please plan on attending.
